"Experience the Spirit of Japan!"
Beginners are welcome! No experience necessary!
Everyone, from elementary school students and above to adults, can experience Japanese culture, including tea ceremony and koto!

Dates and Times: January 24th (Sat) - 25th (Sun), 2026

A stage performance will be held at the same time.
Sunday, January 25, 2026. Doors open at 12:00 PM. Show begins at 1:00 PM (scheduled end at 4:00 PM). Free admission.

Japanese Folk Song Experience (Minyou) ・・・・・・・・・・・・ 

Sounds of Japan: Minyo Experience. Minyo are heartwarming folk songs sung for centuries by farmers, fishermen, and festival-goers. Journey through the Japanese countryside with these folk songs. The lively sounds of the shamisen and the timbre of the small drum resonate with the spirit of community, nature, and celebration. Perfect for beginners and families! No experience necessary.

Content: Learn simple shamisen rhythms and beat the hand drum.
Sing a chorus of upbeat, catchy folk songs.
Join a small "festival" filled with song and laughter.

Duration: 45-60 minutes
Clothing: Comfortable clothing

Sing along with the people of Japan and feel the pulse of the folk songs!

Kouta Experience ・・・・・・・・・・・・

Singing the Heart of Japan: Kouta Experience. Let yourself be transported back in time to the vibrant Edo period as you immerse yourself in the gentle melodies of kouta, a traditional Japanese song. Accompanied by the soft sounds of the shamisen, these charming songs speak of love, the seasons, and everyday joys in just a few minutes. Perfect for beginners and families, no experience necessary.

Contents: Pick up the shamisen and play a simple rhythm.
Sing short, catchy kouta phrases.
Feel the warm, nostalgic atmosphere of old Japan.

Immerse yourself in the world of Noh, a classical Japanese performing art that has been performed for over 650 years, with this Noh experience. Registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage, Noh exudes timeless appeal. With its slow, graceful movements, moving chants, and evocative masks, Noh is a poetic journey into beauty, spirit, and emotion. Perfect for beginners and families, no experience is necessary.
Contents: Experience the expressive power of Noh masks by donning authentic masks.
Practice graceful kata (stylized movements) using a folding fan.
Recite short lines and move to the rhythm of the drums.

This centuries-old ritual is more than just a drink; it’s a mindful practice of harmony, respect, purity, and tranquility.  Perfect for first-timers and families!  No prior experience needed 

What you’ll do:  Learn the graceful movements of whisking vibrant matcha
